Olá equipe,
tivemos uma grande reunião, com uma grande palestra de Dr. S sobre o potencial que a Madeira tem
Testes de laboratório:
Discutimos a necessidade de provar a nossa qualidade com testes de laboratório.
V também pode ter testes de laboratório realizados gratuitamente na Áustria, em troca de aceitar estudantes austríacos que são enviados para começar o treinamento em sua Jardiim por algumas semanas.
Falamos sobre a definição de alta qualidade em plantas: Isso não é difícil, pois há livros de referência disponíveis, contendo as quantidades desejadas ea concentração de ingredientes que são necessários para tratar doenças específicas.
U agradeceu Dr. U que ele tomou para si a voar para a Madeira para nos falar, ter tempo para visitar nossas fazendas e que ele está disposto a nos ajudar, o que é realmente ótimo!

we had a great meeting, with a great lecture from Dr. U.S. on the potential Madeira has for the production of plants
Lab tests:We discussed the necessity to prove our quality with lab tests.
V might also get lab tests done for free in Austria, in exchange for accepting Austrian students who are sent over to get training in her Orchid Garden for a few weeks.
We spoke of the definition of high quality in plants: This is not difficult as there are reference books available, listing the desired quantities and concentration of ingredients which are needed to treat specific illnesses.
U thanked Dr. U that he took it upon himself to fly to Madeira to speak to us, take the time to visit our farms and that he is willing to help us; this is truly great!

Para a reunião da próxima semana, teremos um visitante – espero, também um novo membro – a partir de uma fazenda de ervas. A senhora tem bons contactos para os Chefes locais dos melhores restaurantes. Essas pessoas estão sempre em busca de bons ingredientes frescos para apimentar os menus.
Também encontrei alguns corretores para produtos vegetais – fito-farmacêuticos – para fins medicinais na Alemanha. Vou escrever para eles para obter a sua reacção ao nosso potencial desconhecido. Imagine: uma ilha inteira pode produzir bons produtos sob demanda! Basta dizer-nos o que você precisa, e nós vamos o produzir. Deve ser tentador!
Sumo de maracujá é caro, e Coral (“Brisa Maracujá”), bem como outros produtores de sumos de frutas estrangeiras precisam e querem. Podemos crescer muito deles!

For the meeting next week, we shall have a visitor – hopefully, also a new member – from a herb farm. The lady has good contacts to the local Chefs of the best restaurants. These people are always searching for good and fresh ingredients to spice up their menus.
I also found some brokers for plant products – phyto-pharmaceuticals – for medicinal purposes in Germany. I shall write to them to get their reaction to our unknown potential. Imagine: an entire island can produce nice products on demand! Just tell us what you need, and we’ll grow it for you. Should be tempting!
Maracuja juice (passion fruit) is expensive, and Coral (“Brisa Maracuja”) as well as foreign fruit juice producers need and want it. We can grow plenty of them!
